I saw an advertise at www.vacationrentalsAD.com - Beautiful Oceanview 3 BDR -Unit on Ocean Drive ID 35694- send an email and received answer from "Reuven Davis", the owner. Started the conversations, we`d find was exactly what we wanted for holiday`s (We live in Brazil and planned having holidays at Miami). The "Reuven"send us the rental agreement and the account to the deposit (Wacchovia) of sinal (1000,00). We did. Then, after 1 month we did the rest of the payment in other accont (SUN TRUST - JACQUELINE SHEA) and the Reuven sent us the rental agreement signed. In same days after he sent an email asking more 1000,00 for a new law in Florida. Feeling something weard we started to check and discovered that the pictures advertised at vacationrentalAD weren't from 1500 Ocean Drive, but from the gassenworth! What a holiday!!! How can this things happens in a country like US? To open an bank account you don`t have to present documents? What can we do about this scam. I can`t believe that nothing can be done!

Elisabeth has been smearing our company name all across the internet. Any person is susceptible to being scam by a classified site and we are victims of fraud as well. We require all advertisers to have a valid credit card and we individually review listings. Sometimes things slip though the cracks but its up to the traveler to NOT WIRE MONEY WITHOUT HAVING EVER TALKED TO THE OWNER. We have no association beyond advertiser/client with our listings. Be advised that our site has over 20000+ listings and most of those come from our partner sites.
